Clark County Poet Laureate 2024-2026

If the wreath fits, wear it! Clark County Poet Laureate 2024-2026! Today I received the laurel wreath with the passing of the pen from Armin Tolentino, my awesome predecessor. It was amazing, to be in the company of past Clark County Poet Laureates in addition to Armin, Gwendolyn Morgan and Christopher Luna. And thank you to everyone who has welcomed me. I am humbled and grateful for this opportunity to be of service, bringing poetry into the community and the community into poetry…and thank you east end poets and Poetry Street for being where I am from. Btw Mineola, Smithtown and Queens were in the hours today at the Magenta Theatre in Vancouver WA, the room where it happened!
